The university has a high‑quality faculty led by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It has a total of 3,351 faculty and staff members, including 666 with senior professional titles and 778 with associate senior professional titles. Among them are 2,171 full‑time teachers and 418 postdoctoral researchers.

Currently, the university has 4 members of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, 3 chief scientists of the National 973 Program, 13 national‑level experts with outstanding contributions, 10 provincial‑ and ministerial‑level experts with outstanding contributions, 26 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 26 leading talents and 25 young top‑notch talents of the “Ten‑Thousand Talents Program”, 2 national‑level distinguished teachers, 19 recipients of the National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project, 24 recipients of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, 39 Beijing Municipal distinguished teachers, and 103 recipients of the Trans‑Century Training Program Foundation for the Talents, Young Teacher Award, or New Century Excellent Talents supported by the Ministry of Education.

The USTB Faculty Personal Homepage System is a bilingual (Chinese and English) platform for the university’s faculty to create, manage and publish personal homepages. On this platform, teachers can build their own homepages to display basic information, teaching experience, enrollment information, research achievements, research interests, publications, papers and other content.

This platform mainly supports external exchange and cooperation, student recruitment promotion, and faculty showcase; internally, it facilitates teaching and academic communication. It allows teachers to promote their teaching and academic research, and demonstrates the university’s strengths in education, scientific research and talent development. Users both on and off campus can search for teachers by discipline, faculty/department, research direction, enrollment major and other criteria to view basic information.

The Faculty Personal Homepage System provides unified, convenient and personalized homepage maintenance and management functions for all faculty and staff. Teachers can log in, activate, manage and publish their personal homepages via the university’s unified identity authentication. Faculty members may click the Faculty Login button at the top right of the page to access the faculty management platform and activate, edit and manage their homepages.
